Rules
- Hirers are responsible for the behaviour of people in the Hall and for the care of the building and contents during the letting.
- Hirers should acquaint themselves and other responsible persons with the location of fire exits and emergency equipment.
- The pedestrian pathway and hall fire exit doors including the hall front doors must be kept clear of obstructions.
- The Hall is licensed by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for Public Entertainment and theatrical performances and holds a licence for music.
- A licence for the supply of alcohol may be provided by the Pinder Hall on application by the hirer.
- Hirers are asked to leave the Hall and kitchen in a clean and tidy state after use.
- Information about kitchen facilities, lights, blinds and emergency arrangements are available in the Hall. Hirers should contact the Caretaker for assistance if required.
- In the event of an accident or incident in the Hall, hirers are asked to record details in the accident book and notify the Caretaker
- A hearing loop and PA system is available: please request at the time of booking.
- Pinder Hall has Public Liability Insurance, but it does not cover personal or business activities of hirers. Hirers must ensure they have appropriate insurance for their event, including for any external providers or equipment they bring in, and are also responsible for any damage caused to the hall during their hire.
- Commercial users are asked to give a copy of their Public Liability Insurance Certificate to the Caretaker before using the facilities.
- Car Parking Information
The private car park at Cookham Medical Centre is available for Pinder Hall users after 6:45 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please respect their generosity.
During weekday opening hours, the car park is strictly for Medical Centre staff, patients, and visitors. Do not park there while the CMC is open.
Nearby road parking is available, and the Hall is a 4-minute walk from the train station. Please leave the Hall quietly and avoid leaving vehicles at the Medical Centre overnight.
